Stephen Henderson, (born May 2, 1988 in Dublin), is an Irish goalkeeper playing for Aston Villa.
He has been capped by Ireland at U-15, U-16 and U-19 level. Henderson comes from a noted Irish goalkeeping family. His grandfather Paddy, was part of the succesful Shamrock Rovers side of the 1960s and his father, also Stephen, played in the League of Ireland in the 1990s and is currently manager of Cobh Ramblers. His two uncles are also goalkeepers; Dave won several honours with St Patrick's Athletic and Wayne has recently made his debut for the Republic of Ireland national football team. Wayne also began with Aston Villa.
