Stephen kirk

Stephen Michael Kirk (August 28th, 1952-present) is a businessman and entrepreneur from London, UK.
Stephen Kirk founded Cable London Plc., Broadsystem Ltd,[1] and Broadsystem Ventures, which was a joint venture with Rupert Murdoch's News International. Kirk sold Broadystem Ltd to News International in 1990 and five years later started a joint venture, Broadsystem Ventures, with News International. He sold his stake in 1999.
From 1999 onwards, Kirk has been involved with other companies at Board-level, including Elisabeth Murdoch's London based TV production company, Shine entertainment [2] where he is a Non-Executive director. He is also Chairman of Centric Telecom [3], Mobile Commerce Ltd [4], and most recently, World Television Plc [5], an AIM listed company (AIM: WTV). Kirk is also Non-Executive director of Aggregator Ltd [6] and an Associate at Ironbridge Capital Partners.[7] Kirk is an investor in Shine Matrix - a US television venture which produces "My Games Fever." My Games Fever first aired in late 2006 in 12 markets on News Corporation's My Network Television.
In May 2006, Stephen Kirk was named runner-up at the Non-Executive Director Awards[8] (NED) in the category of 'Privately-owned or Private Equity-backed unquoted companies' for his work at Mobile Commerce Ltd.
Stephen Kirk has moved into other areas, notably writing a book (as yet unpublished) and providing executive coaching. He lives in Marylebone, Central London.
