Stevan Markovic

Stevan Markovic (born May 10, 1937, died 1968) in Belgrade, Serbia, was the bodyguard of Alain Delon. He succumbed to major ambitions after his arrival in Paris and rapidly rose in high society until his violent death in 1968.
His death provoked a political scandal, The Markovic affair, involving French President George Pompidou.
