Steve Ashton (born April, 1971 in Wigan, England) is a TV presenter and producer, stand up comedian, documentary film maker and actor.
Ashton currently works on the UK Sky and Cable channel Gems TV based in Birmingham, England.
He is a very popular member of the presentation team and regularly receives strange and interesting gifts from viewers such as blow up dolls and underwear.
He regularly films abroad for Gems TV and has presented documentaries in Tanzania, Thailand and South Africa. Ashton is a published author and writes regularly for magazines and books about jewelry and gemstones.
He has 2 children and lives somewhere near Milton Keynes.
He was once a Management Consultant, Radio Presenter and a Doorman at various London clubs.
He also has lived and worked in Johannesburg, South Africa, Sydney, Australia and Rotorua, New Zealand.
Ashton also has a Masters Degree.
