Steve Dixon (newsreader)

Steve Dixon (born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria) is a British newsreader who currently works for Sky News, presenting Sky News's Daytime and Evening programmes on weekends alongside colleagues Emma Crosby and Lucy Alexander.
Before working for Sky News, Steve worked for ITN as both a presenter and producer for ITV, NBC Superchannel and the then brand new Channel 5. He also helped produce the news for the Channel 4 breakfast show The Big Breakfast and presented on now-defunct finance channel Simply Money with Angela Rippon.
Steve is a self-confessed science-fiction fanatic, and also freely admits to having an unhealthy obsession with anything technological.
Steve has gathered a large fan base since working for Sky.
