Steve Marker (b. 16 March 1959, in Minneapolis) is a musician, record producer, Human Rights Advocate and founding member of the band Garbage.
In past years, Marker has played in the bands First Person, The Flying Saucers, and Rectal Drip.[1] He founded Smart Studios with Butch Vig in the late 1980s.[2]
He is married, and has a daughter named Ruby.
