Steve Stell

Steve Stell was born in Elk Grove, IL. (A Suburb of Chicago) on September 2, 1976. He is the founding member of the Chicago based melodic death/thrash metal band Enforsaken. Enforsaken were active in the metal scene from 1998 until 2006 when the group disbanded. Enforsaken released 2 critically acclaimed albums and one EP in their 8 year history. These cds were released on various labels in the USA, Europe and Japan. Their breakthrough album, 2004's The Forever Endeavor, was released on Century Media Records (Soundholic Records in Japan). Their final album, the masterwork Sinner's Intuition, was released in 2006 on Crash Music. In addition to writing and performing with Enforsaken, Steve was also the groups manager and webmaster.
To this day, Stell is endorsed by Caparison guitars, a highly regarded Japanese guitar manufacturer. He currently operates and maintains the Caparison guitars MySpace page. Steve is also endorsed by Madison Amplifiers, a small guitar amp/sound re-enforcement company based out of Loveland, Colorado.
Known for his strong DIY attitude when it comes to music promotion, Stell is well respected throughout the metal community also as a manufacturer of band merchandise. He operated a completely independent screen printing shop out of his home during his days in Enforsaken. In addition making most of Enforsaken's merchandise himself, He has printed shirts for bands such as SOiL, Nachtmystium and Lividity. He has also done work for record labels like Century Media and Lifeforce Records.
Stell operated a small indie record label in the mid-late 1990s called "Soulside Records." The label released 3 cd compilation albums that featured mostly unsigned metal artists.
Steve is currently working on new music for a solo release sometime in the near future.
