Steven Poole

Steven Poole (born 1972) is a British author and journalist.
Poole is the author of the book Trigger Happy (2000), an attempt to examine videogames in detail in terms of their aesthetics. He has since discussed the subject in a monthly column in Edge (which ran until March 2005) and in a BBC documentary. He has also written for The Guardian, The Times and other newspapers.
He has also written Unspeak, a book about the use of language as a weapon in politics.
