Stevens Creek

Stevens Creek is a creek in Santa Clara County, California. The creek flows from the Santa Cruz Mountains in Stevens Creek Reservoir and continues further on as a small creek. It runs through Cupertino, Los Altos, and Mountain View before emptying into the San Francisco Bay. Originally called Cupertino Creek its name was later changed to Stevens Creek, supposedly after Elijah Stephens, a South Carolina-born blacksmith who settled in Cupertino.
