[edit] Thanks for the welcome
Thanks for the welcome, Steve. I look forward to contributing on this vastly needed overhaul!
I'm an art director at a financial company in manhattan. I have about 10 years experience designing for web and print (and a tad o' broadcast design), which you can see on my portfolio page: www.numbersixdesign.com. Speaking of which, I checked out your site, and you've got some really great stuff on there.
I really should update my user page, eh? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Rasi2290 Please sign your comments on talk pages by typing four tildes. For a registered user this will automatically print your user name and the date. Thanks.
[edit] The Graphic design WikiProject
Hi Steve. Thanks for the invition to join the Graphic design WikiProject. I would love to contribute, but for the time being all my Wiki time is taken up by the task of finishing the Typography article. I'm the principal writer on that one and feel I owe it to WP's readers to finish it no later than the end of 2006.
After Typography is finished I would like to do a top to bottom rewrite of Typeface and Johannes Gutenberg. Both articles desperately need print references. Johannes Gutenberg needs much more detail on Gutenerg's life as well as his invention, which I have an excellent print source for.
Meanwhile the best contribution I can make to the Graphic design WikiProject is consultation and recommendations on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Graphic design/article candidate page and Wikipedia:WikiProject Graphic design
