Hi. I am here to copy edit and make style fixes. Comments are welcome here.

- Hi Tom. When fixing articles, be sure to check what language they're written in. "Oasis are a band" is English, whereas "Oasis is a band" is American. As a general rule, articles about British topics are written in English, and articles about US topics are written in American. yandman 17:04, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
This is tricky. "Oasis" is the subject of the sentence, and the noun "Oasis" is singular, and is, in this case, used to denote a corporate entity. The word "band" is the object, and the object is singular, the verb must also be singular, in "American" or "English" English. The British venacular is to use "are". I suppose this disolves into an issue of the validity of the venacular, and since yandman has a thought-out opinion on this and I do not, I will defer to his seniority. [edit] ArbCom elections
Since you registered your account after October 1, you are not allowed to vote in arbitration committee elections. Sorry! -Amarkov blahedits 00:35, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
My apologies. Stompin' Tom 00:36, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rachel Marsden
Will you please cease your attempts to disrupt this article. Catchpole 21:12, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
I have simply been trying to uphold the ArbCom decision and principles and to prevent the recreation of an attack page. You must follow Wikipedia policies re: biographies of living persons, and I suggest you read the arbitration committee's decision and comments in this case.Stompin' Tom 23:15, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Indefinitely blocked - confirmed sockpuppet
This account has been indefinitely blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Arthur Ellis Gwernol 02:11, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- If you wish to edit, are willing to abide by the one account ruling in your arbitration case, and are willing to stay away from articles from which you are banned, then you can e-mail me the account you want to use and I will unblock it when the one month ban from the Marsden case (which is reset as of today) lapses. For the record, I think the IPs are Kinsella, not Buckets or Bearcat, and there are other ways to protect the article besides editing it yourself. Thatcher131 02:54, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
