Stratton Sclavos

Stratton Sclavos is the President, CEO and Board Chairman of VeriSign, an Internet data security company. VeriSign's digital ID certificates make it possible for both consumers and merchants to prove they are who they claim to be. VeriSign has issued about 400,000 individual digital IDs and 10,000 business IDs.
The son of second-generation Greek-American parents, Sclavos has a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California. Stratton joined VeriSign in 1995 as one of its first employees.
Stratton lives in California with his wife Jody.
