[edit] Successor organizations
There has been a consistent movement from contributor 12.207.83.252 (talk • contribs) to add the irrelevant information regarding Missouri Students United! to the Student Association of Missouri article. The fact the Missouri Students United! is seeking to become a statewide student association or union shortly after the fall of SAM is what makes the reference relevent to the SAM article.
Speculation that Missouri Students United! is part of a neo-communists movement is best saved for the article on Missouri Students United! and such is irrelevent in the context of the SAM article. The references to its communist ties as speculated by Communist Movements in Modern Academia. Yocum, W. Journal of Contemporary America, unp. P. 7-18 should be saved for the article on Missouri Student United not the SAM article. BCV 01:07, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Defense of Editing
The individual who keeps deleting relevant information has made quite an argument for his/her actions, except that they are also quite contradictory. This individual saysthat adding Missouri Students United! is to show that it is a successor organization to the Student Association of Missouri. This individual also describes such organization. The reference from the Journal of Contemporary America is merely describing the organization. Thus, this information is correctly placed. The actions of the above individual has a mild resemblence to the type of censorship found in the Soviet Union and its communist satellites, further proving the journal article's point. Viva la revolucion!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.207.83.252 (talk • contribs).
- The Journal of Contemporary America is an unpublished source, I am not censoring but editing information that is not relevent to the context that Missouri Students United! is mentioned in the SAM article, perhaps you might write a article on Missouri Students United! and mention the controversy there in a relevent section. Your contributions prior to this have been quite constructive, so you might try that approach BCV 17:49, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] His Truth is Marching On!
The article is quite published, my friend. Perhaps the skills that lead you to make previously bad arguments has also lead to your lack of quality investigative skills. Lexis-Nexis and other databases should be of great help.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.207.83.252 (talk • contribs).
- Excellent please send me a copy to review. I would love to read it. BCV 23:04, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
