It has been found in clinical practice that the topical use of sucralfate in burns, cuts and wound healing is excellent. Some preparations containing sucralfate,povodone iodine and metronidazole and sucralfate ,silversulphadiazine ,metronidazole by the name of Dresin and Burnosaf respectively in India .Sucralfate and oxetacaine topical and oral preparations are also available.
