Sue-Ellen Welfonder is a Scottish-American writer of romance novels. She is a USA Today bestselling author[1] and the winner of a 2001 award from Romantic Times.[2]

Sue-Ellen Welfonder is of Scottish ancestry and was born in Florida, USA. She worked as a flight attendant for twenty years. She met her husband, Manfred Welfonder, in Munich, Germany, where they stayed for fifteen years. They have since returned to Florida.[3][4]
