Sue Ellen Mischke
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sue Ellen Mischke (played by Brenda Strong) is a fictional character on the sitcom Seinfeld, an acquaintance of Elaine Benes' since they attended high school together in Maryland. Mischke is the heiress to the Oh Henry! candy bar fortune, and is reputed on the show for never wearing a bra (earning her the nickname "The Braless Wonder"). Elaine regards Mischke as an intense rival after she steals her boyfriend, described by Jerry as Elaine's Lex Luthor.
Sue Ellen first appears in "The Caddy," in which she inadvertently causes a car accident when Kramer is drawn to the sight of her walking around with a bra as a top. She then becomes the center of a high-profile lawsuit in which Kramer, represented by Jackie Chiles, sues her for injuring him and permanently destroying his chances at a career in golf.
In "The Betrayal," Sue Ellen appears as a central element in the plot, inviting Elaine (accompanied by Jerry and George) to India for her wedding. Elaine and Sue Ellen briefly reconcile their animosity before it is revealed that Elaine once had a relationship with Sue Ellen's groom.
She also has smaller appearances in "The Bottle Deposit, Part 1" and "Part 2," and "The Abstinence."
