Suining

Suining (Simplified Chinese: 遂宁; Traditional Chinese: 遂寧; pinyin: Sùiníng; Wade-Giles: Sui-ning, should be pronounced as Template:P=Xùníng) is a prefecture-level city within mountainuous Sichuan province in the South of China. Suining had 266,100 residents in 2001. A suburb of Suining is Lanjiang.
Suining, Pengxi, Shehong, Santai, Yanting, Zhongjiang, Anyue, Lezhi, and Tongnan are the counties within this prefecture. Most of these are overwhelmingly rural in character. Within several counties are petroleum, gas and salt resources.
