Summit Christian College
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Summit Christian College was established in 1951 as Platte Valley Bible College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. For many years, a program of Medical Missions was the college's major contribution to the efforts of Christian Church-related Bible colleges in the area of world evangelism. In recent years, the lack of demand for and the difficulties of providing such a program have led to its discontinuance. The college is historically affiliated with non-denominational, Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ of the Restoration Movement.
In 2005, Platte Valley Bible College changed its name to become Summit Christian College.
