This seems wrong. 1 AU is our distance from the Sun; even though I shouldn't, I've looked at the Sun some times and it seems much larger. Earth's atmosphere might play a role on that, but I don't believe it'll be that important (the Sun's radius looks at least 4 times smaller than in real life).
I agree...I'll do some checking, but the Sun certainly looks bigger whenever I look at it.
