Super Spike V'Ball is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1990. It is based on, but not a direct port of, the arcade game U.S. Championship V'Ball. It is a beach volleyball game, the most notable element of the game being the 'Super Spike,' a spike which is difficult to block. It offers several teams with varying attributes, and is one of the better designed 4-player games for the Nintendo.
The four teams are:
- GEORGE & MURPHY - Well balanced players.
- AL & JOHN - Powerful but slow players with poor defensive techniques.
- BILLY & JIMMY (of Double Dragon fame) - Defensive players with poor spiking power.
- ED & MICHAEL - Quick players with average hitting power.
