[edit] Jeremy Mateyk
A tag has been placed on Jeremy Mateyk, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dgies 01:45, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- One of my brothers did that, apparently to be funny. I wasn't happy and he did it on my account. Sorry about that. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Superbowlbound (talk • contribs) 18:25, 11 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Edits regarding Great Valley High School
Hello, Superbowlbound. When making edits to an article, especially with criticism such as yours, a reliable source is needed. If you can find a reliable source that backs up the information your saying, please feel free to take away the citation needed tag. Hello32020 02:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- Umm, its been in our school newspaper. Its not online. You know not all sources that are realiable are also virtual.
- To be reliable, it also has to be accessible over time. This doesn't necessarily mean online, but in all probability your school doesn't keep excellent archives of school newspapers. You would at least have to cite the name of the paper, edition, etc. --Auto(talk / contribs) 02:59, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, first see WP:RS, and second let me give you this standard: if I can contact your school and get a copy of this paper to read myself, then it's probably reliable enough. Part of the point is somebody else has to be able to check it. --Auto(talk / contribs) 03:05, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- [1] page 11 there are two things. Proved you wrong. And there is another article not on there. Any other questions, ask first.

- If you're going to add that kind of criticism, you don't leave it unsourced, and you don't just point to a source and say "it's in there" without citing it properly yourself. Also, no single editor assumes authority on a subject to the point where they ask edits to go through them. It doesn't work like that. -- Shoejartalk/edits 03:55, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
