Svilojevo

Svilojevo (Serbian Cyrillic: Свилојево, Hungarian: Szilagyi) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Apatin municipality, in the West Bačka District, Vojvodina province. The population of the village is 1,364 (2002 census), including 792 Hungarians, 403 Serbs, and others.

In the year 2001, the village celebrated one hundred years from its establishment, and in 2006, recently renovated, the church became a hundred years old.
