Immortal Game, named from the famous chess match, sees the progression from varying styles of songs to a more cohesive downtempo atmosphere throughout. Featuring a mixture of songs with different vocalists as well as instrumentals, mellow hiphop beats and sweeping synths dominate. Singers Melissa Kaplan, Leah Callahan, Adam Buchard, Eric Sprague, & Julia Gray each add their own distinctive qualities to this album. Unique minimal album art created by Clifford Stoltze of Stoltze Design adds to the aesthetic of the cd.
