Symbols of Ontario

Ontario is one of Canada's provinces, and has established several provincial symbols.[1]

- Provincial bird: Common Loon, Gavia immer
- Provincial tree: Eastern White Pine, Pinus strobus
- Provincial mineral: Amethyst
- Provincial motto: Ut incepit fidelis sic permanet ("Loyal she began, loyal she remains")
- Provincial coat of arms: Coat of Arms of Ontario
- Provincial flag: Flag of Ontario
- Provincial seal: Great Seal
