Synth (culture)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Synth culture is mainly dominated by the love of music containing synthetic sounds, music such as Industrial Music, Electronica, Electro-pop, EBM, IDM, Trance and many other genres of music dominated by synthetic sounds. The culture is also entwined with a passion for bright or neon colours, these may be used in clothing or hairstyles. A Synth is not defined by the way they dress or look, but by their music taste.
[edit] Music
A Synth is classified by their taste of music, not they way they dress or look. so it is not a physical feature that defines them. Music that a Synth will mainly listen to will consist of genres such as Industrial Music, Electronica, Techno, Electro-pop, EBM, IDM, Trance, Futurepop, Dance, Synthpop and many other genres of music. Most music has a Synthesiser or Keyboard used as an instrument within the band's/solo artist's music. This helps develop the synthetic, electronic sounds involved in the music.
