Syosset Central School District

The Syosset Central School District serves the inhabitants of Syosset, a hamlet in Nassau County, New York. The Syosset Central School District operates ten schools; one high school (Syosset High School), two middle schools (South Woods and Harry B. Thompson), and seven elementary schools (Walt Whitman, Baylis, Willits, Village, Robbins Lane, Berry Hill, and South Grove). The high school and both middle schools have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence.
