Antidisestablishmentarianism
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Antidisestablishmentarianism is a word that is not used for what it means very often, but is said as an example of one of the longest words in the English language. It means activities against making the status of something less than it was.
In particular antidisestablishmentarianism refers to the view of those opposed to the disestablishment of the Church of England, which would alter the Church's constitutional position as the state religion.
