A chocolate cake is a cake made from a recipe. The ingredients are put in to a bowl and mixed together, then the mixture is moved from the bowl into a cake tin and put in an oven for an amount of time. When the time is finished the cake is taken out of the oven and placed on a cooling stand. If the person wants to they can ice the cake, when it has cooled down. Chocolate cakes are a sold in shops as well as made at home. They are a sweet food and should not be eaten all the time. Chocolate cakes are a common dessert served at birthdays, weddings. There are many different types of chocolate cake, depending on the recipe and different types of chocolate used. Chocolate cake is one of the most popular cakes and can be served at any occasion.
