Comic strip
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A comic strip is a series of panels with cartoon drawings in them that make a story. Sometimes comic strips are humourous, and sometimes they are serious. Famous examples of comic strips are:
- Peanuts by Charles Schulz and Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson.
- Motley's Crew by Ben Templeton and Tom Forman
- Between Friends by Sandra Bell-Lundy
There are comic strips in newspapers and on the web. Comic strips on the web are called webcomics. For example, a famous webcomic is Penny Arcade.
