Talk:Constitution
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
" A free country will usually have a very simple constitution, and its government will do a good job of sticking to it.
On the other hand, countries with repressive governments often have very lengthy and complicated constitutions, and their regimes are often corrupt." -- This is biased or at least oversimplified. Exactly how are we supposed to be defining "a free country" here?? Also, it is certainly possible to have a very repressive government with *no* constitution, or a very brief one (Rule #1: Whatever the Leader says, goes. Rule #2: See Rule #1.)
[edit] The United Kingdom's Constitution
Does the United Kingdom have a constitution of any kind whatsoever? If so, what does it have?--67.10.200.101 23:53, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
