Nobody
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
No body or no-body or nobody means usually "no human body or no person" will do or say something or stand in some place.
Like no one it is quite often used as an idiom to mean "nobody that matters," for instance a slave would be a "nobody". The term nobody used in this way means a body or person who does not matter, and can be disposed of with no consequences. Or, just, one who "we" will no longer hear.
[edit] Examples of use
"Nobody would stand in front of a freight train willingly."
"That man is making himself a nobody."
