The term saint is used about someone believed to be virtuous and holy. Saints are considered to be holy. In the Roman Catholic Church to become a saint you have to go through a long process called canonization, which is performed by the Pope.
- In the New Testament, the term Saint is used to refer to any member of the Church of Christ.
- In the Roman Catholic Church, a saint is someone who lives a very holy life and follows the bible. To become a Roman Catholic saint, the person needs to have done a miracle.
- In Mormonism, a saint is somone who is a mormon.
- In Protestant churches a saints is anyone who is religious.
