Tropical

Tropical is something that is from the tropical areas, which is in most places around the equator. They have different names for seasons there, even though they have the same season. They call them the dry and wet seasons.

Tropical is also sometimes used in a sense for tropical weather (a climate that is warm to hot and wet year-round, often with good vegetation). However, there are places in the tropics that aren't "tropical", with even snowy tundra and snow-capped peaks, including Mauna Kea, Mt. Kilimanjaro, and the Andes as far south as the northernmost parts of Chile and Argentina. Most places are wet, however some can be dry.
