Pieseň "The Four Horsemen" pôvodne napísal Dave Mustaine a mala názov "The Mechanix". Metallica ju hrala často na svojich prvých koncertoch. Po Mustaineovom odchode, Hammett pridal pomalú, melodickú strednú sekciu. Hetfield napísal nový text a kapela ju premenovala na The Four Horsemen. Mustaine ponechal zrýchlenú verziu tejto piesne, vypustil "The" z názvu a dostala sa na prvý album Megadeth, Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!.
