Description	Preparations for matriculation day at Lotsane Senior Secondary School, Palapye, Botswana. Meals are usually prepared in the school kitchens, but for a feast three-legged pots ("falkirks") are pressed into service. In the wheelbarrow is meat from a cow or goat slaughtered earlier in the day. The old lockers in the maintenance store act as a windbreak for the fires. Taken December 1995 on film.
