[redigera] Wikispecies images
Hello Per, I am wikispecies:User:Kempm from wikispecies. A while ago you have uploaded revisions to the Wikispecies logo. We have a new policy regarding images and are moving them to Wiki commons. We have a problem with your images, as to they dont have a clear license tag. Could you provide us with the appropriate tag and maybe upload your images to Wiki commons yoursaelf. With the appropriate tags the images will have to be deleted. Thx. --83.87.22.30 27 december 2006 kl. 11.48 (CET) (wikispecies:User:Kempm)
- Hey Per regarding your question whether your logos will be used... Nightstallion announced that he will start a competition for a new wikispecies logo after the wikibooks and wiktionary logos have been chosen. So I wouldn't discard the images! There's a little discussion also about the logos also in the Village Pump (On Species) for it. Check it out :) --83.87.22.30 28 december 2006 kl. 18.48 (CET) (wikispecies:User:Kempm)

- Thx for the transfer, and good luck with getting your images chosen as the preferred one! --83.87.22.30 28 december 2006 kl. 19.11 (CET) (wikispecies:User:Kempm)

[redigera] CodeCodex licensing
Hi Erik,
Thanks for your suggestion on licensing on CodeCodex. I've always known that this issue would have to be addressed -- but I have been putting it off. For a while I thought I'd be the only contributor, so it didn't matter. :) I agree with you that G*L sounds like the easiest -- mostly because Wikipedia is using it and I can use what they have written about it. I've been ignoring this issue because I'm not a lawyer -- I'm just a geek :) -- but now that more people are contributing to CodeCodex I owe the community a clear license so people know that they're contributing to an open, community project. Look for your suggested changes in the near future! Thanks again. -Julius
