T. and T.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
T. and T. is a Canadian-produced television series broadcast through syndication and on Family Channel between 1987 and 1990 as a vehicle for Mr. T.
The opening voice-over set-up the premise:
“ | T.S. Turner was convicted of a crime he didn't commit. Amy Taylor was a young crusading lawyer. She launched a campaign to put Turner back on the street, this time in a shirt and tie as a private detective. Together they are -- T. and T. | ” |
The regular cast included Mr. T himself along with Alexandra Amini, Kristina Nicoll, and David Nerman.
According to lore among Toronto production staff, Mr. T reportedly ate various forms of chicken for every meal of every day during shooting, on more than one occasion lambasting staff at the Inn on the Park for failing to demonstrate the desired level of diversity in their chicken preparations.[citation needed]
