Taffy Nivert

Taffy Nivert (also Taffy Danoff) was born October 25, 1944 in Washington, DC. She was a member of folk singing duo called Fat City with her then-husband Bill Danoff, who would later compose several songs for John Denver. She was a member of the Starland Vocal Band, which spun off into the eponymous television variety show Starland Vocal Band. Nivert appeared as a guest on many shows including the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and The John Denver Show. Today Taffy Nivert still resides in Silver Spring, MD and was most recently interviewed by DC101's Elliott in the Morning Show.
