My hobby is house and occupant research of canal houses in Amsterdam. Of some canal houses and occupants much is known, but in general I collect relevant information in tax books, stored in the municipal archives, in the literature or on internet. Research provided details on a Amsterdam mayor called Albert Burgh.
Further I listen to baroque operas. That interest has led to lemma's in the Dutch Wikipedia on Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Mattheson, Reinhard Keiser, Pietro Ottoboni, Senesino, Johann Adolf Hasse, Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Carl Heinrich Graun, Christoph Graupner, Antonio Lotti, Alessandro Scarlatti. There I added to August the Strong, Peter the Great, the Dukes of Brunswick and Swedish royalty.
Since I am a guide in museum Museum Geelvinck-Hinlopen, I am informed with the painters Gillis d'Hondecoeter, Melchior de Hondecoeter, Gabriel Metsu, Gerbrand van den Eeckhout, Chinese and Meissen porcelain.
I will supply (or have added already) to the English Wikipedia on the following topics: Jan Lievens, Pieter Lastman, Paulus Potter, Emanuel de Witte, Jan Baptist Weenix, Jan Weenix, Jan van der Heyden, Saskia van Uylenburg, Jean-Etienne Liotard,
Lately I added to the lemma's on Montgolfier brothers and some Dutch scientist from 17th or 18th century. I like to compare the English, Dutch, German and French Wikipedia, in order to get a broad view on the subject.
