Tankball is the second most played game on the game domain of www.maidmarian.com. It is a game where you choose your tank color and drive around shooting. Colors include gray, blue, red, and green. Use the chat to communicate with people and form teams. It is a mix of paintball shooting shoe boxes. Games are five minutes long and played on an island. It takes 10 hits to to destroy another tank but due to varying connection speeds, it usually requires around 30 to 80 hits for it to register as just 10 on the enemy. You can only damage tanks of different colors and hitting a tank of the same color will only result in it flipping over. For awhile people have been creating [clans]. These have extended far and wide. Some of the most famous of these clans are as follows: MK, DAE, MC, IL, merc, NC, and many more. They have organized clan sites to use as bases for grouping and talking among themselves. Many people just want to roam around and have fun. Here is a small list of whom are considered tankball professionals (note: these are not their real names!)
Blade, LDS, Blitz, ss, Solord, Faethon/Theros, Sonic, Moo, Lord Xerxein, Razgriz, DEATH1, Angelwings, Cute, The_Game, DER,
and many more.
HIERARCHY
The people of Tank Ball have ranks set out among the players. Here in order as TB rank: noob, regular, and veteran. Noobs are among the less likely to play long and have just started playing.Players are considered noobs usually until they have played for about 6 months. After that, the players are technically regulars and are more accepted by the tankball community, but depending on how they act they might still be called noobs. Veterans or, "vets" in TB(tank ball) slang, have played for a long period of time(usually multiple years). Veterans are some of the most elite of players. Not always just the best fighters, they are all around friendly, brave, smart, cunning, clever, agile, etc. They are usually, in tankball terms, old and experienced. Some players are also referred to as legends or ancients. However, those titles are only opinion or self proclaimed. "Legends" are usually the oldest people on the game or some of the strongest. Most ancients are legends. "Ancients" are supposedly people who have been playing since almost the beginning of Tank Ball (about 4 years by player accounts).
