Tarporley is a large village and civil parish in the English county of Cheshire.
Once a notorious traffic bottleneck it is now bypassed by the A49 and A51 roads. The population is some 2,700 people. Tarporley forms part of Vale Royal borough.
Tarporley has a secondary school, Tarporley Community High School.
Tarporley also has a Primary school, Tarporley Church of England Primary School.
