Hi,
I'm a relative latecomer to wikipedia, but I have grown to love it. I live in Oakland, California near beautiful Lake Merritt. I am a public middle school teacher in Oakland Unified School District.
I created this account on January 23, 2007. It is named after a fictional character: a wise, but somewhat mad, prophet. Below this introduction is a collection of tips and links which I find useful.

Looking for a scientific american article on Windcatchers. A comment in the windcatchers article suggested that there was a 1990 article on the topic, though I can only find this reference so far:
