Talk:Tau
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I learned that in modern Greek tau is called taf. So I guess the letters here are pronounced in ancient Greek?
- It is written ταυ, which is pronounced roughly "taf", because υ takes on a sound varying between "f" and "v" when it follows an α or ε. --Delirium 03:39, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)
Can anybody tell the significance of tau usage in engineering industry at present.
