Tavistock is a town in Oxford County, Ontario, Canada. Tavistock is geographically 15 kilometers southeast of Stratford and directly 5 kilometers south of Shakespeare on County Road 59. The world championship crokinole tournament has been held annually since 1999 in Tavistock, Ontario, Canada. (http://www.worldcrokinole.com/)
Tavistock is home to the Tavistock Braves, a junior hockey team that plays in the Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
