Tax resisters are people who have refused to pay all or some portion of taxes that a government asked them to pay because of conscientious opposition to that government or to the government's policies, especially opposition to war or specific wars. See: Tax resistance.
This category stands in contrast to Category:Tax evaders, which contains articles about people who did not pay their taxes simply for financial gain.
