Team 1538

FIRST Robotics Team 1538 (The Holy Cows) is based at High Tech High in San Diego. The team started in 2005 when the team was founded by 5 high school friends. The Holy Cows have now grown to over 25 different students with varying interests. David Berggren, an engineering teacher at High Tech High, serves as the primary mentor for the team. The current directors of the Holy Cows are three Junior girls by the names of Cheyenne Manske, Amanda Canyon, and Britney Parker.
In 2007, The Holy Cows hosted the 2007 Rack 'n Roll Kickoff event at High Tech High International.
In 2005, Team 1538 participated in the Triple Play Competition in the Las Vegas regional. As of April 2006, they have participated in the Aim High competition in Las Vegas and plan on attending the regional in Atlanta.
