Temnozor (Russian: Темнозорь) is a band formed in 1996 in Obninsk, Russia, to express the pride of its members of being slavic. Temnozor started out as a raw black metal band, although folk music increasingly played a part in their music throughout their albums. They are now considered a prime example of National Socialist (NS) folk metal. Their lyrics tend towards ancient Russian folklore, paganism, and hatred towards monotheistic traditions.
