[edit] History
The Southern Pacific Railroad built the depot in 1924. The city purchased the building and in 1987 renovated it; the building now houses Macayo's Depot Cantina, a renowned Mexican restaurant. The Sunset Limited and Texas Eagle served this location from the 1987 renovation until 3 June 1996. The Valley Metro light rail line, slated to open in late 2008, will serve a new station one block east of the depot.
