Tenafly High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in grades nine through twelve from Tenafly, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Tenafly Public Schools. Students from the neighboring community of Alpine attend the school as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Alpine Public School. During the 2004 - 2005 school year Tenafly High School had 966 students.

Tenafly High School was awarded the prestigious Blue Ribbon School Award, awarded by the United States Department of Education at a special assembly to the Tenafly High School Community on September 20, 2005. Tenafly was the only high school in New Jersey and one of 38 public high schools in the U.S. to receive the 2005 Blue Ribbon School Award.^[1]

Tenafly High School was the 2nd ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2006 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools.^[2]

Poet and author Gary Whitehead teaches English at Tenafly High School, and manages the production and publication of the school literary magazine, Omega.

Tenafly High School's Lalor Library Media Center is a full service library containing over 22,000 volumes, an electronic reference center with on line resources, and an academic theater for projecting all types of materials. A professional television studio located in the center of the library (perhaps the first and only library to so closely integrate television broadcast within a working library) features integrated videoconferencing that allows guest speakers to be brought in electronically) is supported by a television control room located in a one time AV storage room. Live local access broadcasting as well as worldwide web streaming at www.librarymedia.net enables in house productions and presentations to be broadcast and shared worldwide.

Tenafly is noted for its competitive debate team which has been awarded numerous awards over the years.^{[citation needed]}

Tenafly High School is one of ten schools participating in the Bergen County Scholastic League (BCSL) American Division. The school nickname is the Tigers, and its school colors are consequently black and orange, with a nod to those of Princeton University.

Tenafly is noted for its tennis team which boasts the New Jersey State Doubles Champions (2005), identical twins Alex and Ben Lee. Tenafly's Varsity tennis team has also won the New Jersey State Group II Championship the past three years (2004, 2005, 2006)^[3]. In the 2006-2007 school year, freshman Anya Sahaydachny and senior Erin Durkin were awarded the title of First Team all League and All County for doubles with a record of 22-1.^[4]^[5]
