Tess Jaray

Tess Jaray is the artist who designed Centenary Square, Birmingham, England and the forecourt for the New British Embassy, Moscow.
She studied painting a the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, where she later taught. She has work in many public collections, including the Tate Gallery and the British Museum.
She collaborated with W. G. Sebald on a book called For years now: poems. Images by Tess Jaray. London: Short Books, 2001.
